Gionee S6s is another 2016 upgrade to the Gionee S6. The specs look similar, but the software has been upgraded to Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). Like the Gionee S6 Pro launched earlier this year, the Gionee S6s also adds a fingerprint sensor and improved cameras.

Display and Camera

Gionee S6s features a brilliant 5.5-inch IPS Display. The display offers 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Gionee S6s features a 13 megapixels camera on the back. The camera offers HDR, phase detection autofocus, Panorama, and LED Flash. On the front, the phone offers an 8 megapixels with LED flash for good quality selfies.

Hardware and Software

Gionee S6s is powered by Mediatek MT6753 chipset, which offers eight cores with clock frequencies of up to 1.3GHz. The phone is loaded with Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and Amigo 3.2 UI. Gionee S6s sports a 3GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage. The SIM2 slot on the dual-SIM smartphone also doubles as a microSD slot with support for up to 256GB built-in storage.
Gionee S6s features 4G LTE, fingerprint sensor, USB Type C, and Bluetooth 4.0. It sports 3150 Li-Po mAh non-removable Battery.
